I made this card for one of my best friends who found a new job. Both her & I have an obsession with Star Wars, so I had to make her a Star Wars card. Truth be told finding Star Wars stamps is not easy although I found these stickers in Michael's and they could not be more perfect cause not only are they Star Wars but they are also LEGO!!!! WOOHOO!!!!
I found the paper at a local scrapbooking store in Minneapolis on one of our many adventures to Scrapfest and of course I had to have it.
I'm super happy with the result and am totally in love with the Lego Star Wars stickers.
Thanks for stopping by & May the Force be with you!!!

Happy Birthday Caroline!!
Here's the birthday tag I created for my sister & bestest friend Caroline!!
As you can tell I'm continuing with my Tim Holtz craze!! :)
For Caroline's tag I only used my Picked Raspberry Distress Ink pad, I have the stain somewhere (time to reorganize my scrapbooking room) but the ink pad was just as good. The effect on the tag is created by rubbing the ink pad all over the tag & then spray water on it while drying it with my heat tool, I'm obsessed with the look & effect :) The cupcake is from Tim's blueprint collection, the sparkle was created with glamour dust... also from my Tim Holtz collection is the metal plate & glass fragment.
The effect on the glass fragment is from stamping with versa mark & then using holograph embossing powder and a wee bit if heat to make the little present pop... I LOVE the effect!!
Then I used some twine & crinkle ribbon dyed picked raspberry of course to finish it up.
I'm really happy with the result & Caroline was too!!
Thanks for visiting & take care :)

Happy Birthday Hunny Bunny!!
Here is the Birthday Tag I created for my husband Chris, using my Tim Holtz stash once again... This time I used one of the birthday blueprint stamps, coloured with my Tim Holtz markers, it was really dark, then my sister Caroline reminded me that they are water colour markers so I added some water and super happy. The top of the cupcake has fine glamour dust glitter on it, cause ya gotta have a bit of sparkle.. :)
The tag is coloured with Tumbled Glass, Faded Blue Jeans & Broken China Distress Stains helped out with some water and the edges are distressed. I used musical note tissue tape for the ribbon, one of my game pieces with 35 on it since that's what he will be & then I added a wish tag to finish it up nicely.
I'm liking my Tim Holtz collection & have lots of ideas how to use it now.

Happy Valentine's Day Tag
I think most of my followers know that I'm slightly obsessed with the amazing Tim Holtz & all of his products which started when I took one of his classes @ Scrapfest. So needless to say I have with the thanks of Caroline I have quite a lot of his products, stamps, tags, tools.... need I go on.
Anyway I was scrapbooking with friends on Sunday and decided that all I was bringing was my Tim Holtz stuff and I was going to finally use them to make some fabulous tags!! Tim has his 12 tags for 2013 challenges/tutorials so I thought what better way to learn to use my collection better and make a cute tag for my husband Christopher.
My sister Caroline & my good friend Lee-Ann suggested I make it in to a card so I hmmm and haaaa about it and then since my sister is always right I decided what the heck and couldn't be happier!! Lee-Ann lent me her beautiful falling hearts embossing folder & it came together beautifully. I'm super excited about it & hope my Hunny Bunny is too!!
